Rule: Minus 14 for each number.
-35 + 33(-14) = -497

34th term = -497

so the difference is -14
to go from -14 to -35 you do -21
so the nth term is -14n-21
so the 34th term would be:
-14 ×34 which equals -476
then you would do -476-21 which is -497
Therefore the 34th term is -497
