a. first, make the /6 to /9, like the other problem.  We can use 6*1 1/2.  We do that to the upper side too, creating 4.5x-1.5

So now we have that + 2x+5
                                      ___
                                        9
Which turns out to be 2x+4.5x+3.5  /9=  6.5x+3.5. /9
