solve and check times six equals 12 / 9

Okay so your gonna go across diagonally and multiply because it is a proportion problem so it turns out looking like this:
x(9) = 12(6)

8x =72

x = 9

Now just put it in:
9/6 = 12/9
And see that it correlates!
