Helps the picture look realistic and well drawn. Art teachers always say that shading helps the drawing/picture have drawing, and maybe we could become the next top painters!
its helps the drawing/ picture look real. if you drew an apple without shading it would look boring and unrealistic, but if its shaded it will look more realistic.
