A good acronym to remember when evaluating source information is: Currency, Relevance, Authority, Accuracy, and Purpose (CRAAP).
Also, I found another one:
Claim, Role of the claimant, Information backing the claim, Testing, Independent Verification, Conclusion. (CRITIC)
